What’s the course like: This place is off the charts, we’re not exaggerating when we say that it really is one of the best mountain bike venues in the country. The fun come thick and fast, not only is Pippingford home to longest down hill of the series it even has climbs that will make you smile.
Can I race: Of course, everyone is welcome regardless of ability, head over to the categories and schedule page for more information about which race might suit you best and take a look at the FAQ’s for more info
Is camping available: Yes, please drop us a mail to firstname.lastname@example.org so we can arrange sufficient first aid
Can I bring my dog: Yes, along as it’s well behaved and on a lead
Is there an event at this venue the day before: Yes, the Dirty Hot Lap Time Trial will be on late afternoon on Saturday 13th. If you fancy a blast at it look out for the check box on the entry page, this will also give you plenty of practise in prep for Sunday. Also Pippingford is home to the TrailX Off Road Festival in the weekend of September 7th & 8th, the TrailX Off Road Triathlon with be on the Saturday and the Feet Of Endurance 6hr trail running competition will be on the Sunday
Is the venue easy to find: Yes, it’s an immediate turn of the A22, about 20mins from Gatwick Airport, we will send a rider pack to all pre entered riders in the run up to the event
Fun fact: Pippingford Park is in the heart of the Ashdown Forest, which is otherwise known as 100 Acre Wood….that’s right, A. A. Milne lived nearby and used the Ashdown Forest as the setting for the much loved Winnie-the-Pooh stories.
