|Under 9||2010 or before*||M & F||This is where a life time of bike racing often begins. A short, speedy MTB course with lots of woodland fun course and the riders do as many laps as they can in the time allowed.||11:30||15mins||£10.00|
|Under 12||2007 to 2009||M & F||Using the same course as the U9’s but the competition last a little longer and competitors complete as many laps as they can.||11:50||25mins||£10.00|
|Juvenile||2005 to 2006||M & F||This is the competitors first trip out on to the full course, go for it and show ‘um how it’s done||12:30||30-45mins / 2 laps||£17.00|
|Youth||2003 to 2004||M & F||On the full course loving life||12:30||30-60mins / 2 laps for F and 3 for M||£20.00|
|Junior||2001 to 2002||M & F||A competitive battle for the next generation. If you have never raced before but fall in this age range you may want to consider either the Beginner/Fun race or the Open race||12:35 – F 2:15 – M||3 laps for F and 4 for M, neither can start a new lap after 1.5hrs||£25.00|
|Sport||2000 and before||M & F||A great place to start if you’ve come form another competitive cycle sport or a great step from Open||12:35 – F 9:45 – M||3 laps for F and 4 for M, neither can start a new lap after 1hr 15mins||£33.00|
|Expert||2000 and before||M & F||Super competitive racing for all of you who hold ‘Expert’ British Cycling licenses||12:35 – F 2:15 – M||4 laps for F and 5 for M, neither can start a new lap after 1.5hrs||£33.00|
|Elite||2000 and before||M & F||This is where the big guns hang out. Great racing open to all of you with ‘Elite’ British Cycling licenses||12:35 – F 2:15 – M||5 laps for F and 6 for M, neither can start a new lap after 1.5hrs||£35.00|
|Fun/Beginner||2006 and before||M & F||This is a great place to start if you’ve never raced before, you’re struggling for confidence or you’re too old for Under 12’s but don;t feel confident enough for Juvenile racing. There is no series for these races and if you find yourself winning regularly do the right thing and enter a different category next time||12:30 – U16 12:35 – F 9:45 – M||1 lap for U16’s, 1 lap for F and 2 for M, in a multi lap race you cannot start a new lap after 1.5hrs||

|Open||2002 and before||M & F||If you’ve found your feet in the Fun/Beginner race and fancy a little more challenge of you’re too old for Youth and don’t feel confident enough to race in Juniors||12:35 – F 9:45 – M||2 laps for F and 3 for M, neither can start a new lap after 1hr 15mins||£30.00|
|Veterans||1970 to 1979||M & F||If you want to race within your age group or are looking to score Veteran national ranking points. Don’t be fooled by the ‘Veteran’ heading, it’s pretty speedy!!||12:35 – F 2:15 – M||3 laps for F and 5 for M, neither can start a new lap after 1.5hrs||£33.00|
|Grand Veterans||1960 to 1969||M & F||If you want to race within your age group or are looking to score Grand Veteran national ranking points. These riders prove that age is just a number, talk about quick…||12:35 – F 2:15 – M||3 laps for F and 4 for M, neither can start a new lap after 1.5hrs||£33.00|
|Super Veterans||1950 and before||M||If you want to race within your age group or are looking to score Super Veteran national ranking points. These guys have earned the super status and should really have their pants on the outside!!||M – 9:45||3 laps and you can’t start a new lap after 1hr 15mins||£30.00|
* We ask that all riders can ride in woodland tracks and across grassland under their own steam, if your child is still finding their feet off road but is desperate to race have a look at a Summer Cyclocross series.
**Lap count may be different from the below, for example to course at The Basingstoke MTB race which is round 4 will be a bit longer than usual so for the British Cycling Commissar may well decide to reduce the lap number on the day
***The ‘Early Bird’ discount of 20% will be applied to your entry fee if you enter at least 6 weeks before the race date. The ‘Online’ price is a discount of 15% of the on the day price and will be applied to your entry fee if you enter within the 6 weeks before the race date – please note that online entry closes on the Wednesday before each race.
