Pippingford Park – 9th September 2018
Our goal: to build the best Off Road Triathlon for youEventRex UK Ltd
So, we have the basics covered; awesome venue owners, wicked trails, mega course planned and entries coming in but now we need some help from you: When you get a mo drop us a quick email to firstname.lastname@example.org and tell us about your experience of off road triathlon; what did you like, what didn’t you like, favourite course content, the nice touches like medals & t-shirts, there are no holes barred so show us what you’ve got, oh and maybe most importantly what would make you want to join us on 9th September?
Swim, Ride, Run…
A point to point swim made up from 3 of Pippingford’s lakes for the Full Fat competitors; the entire swim leg is approximately 1,000m long with a short portage between each lake and a run up to transition. All runs and transition will be matted. Sugar Free competitors will swim 2 lakes
Eventrex have teamed up with Doug Hall, experienced Off Road Triathlon Athlete and Coach to bring you the 2018 TrailX Triathlon! It will be hosted at Pippingford Park, one of the UK’s premier event venues
Pippingford Park is set in over 800 acres of rolling countryside – It already plays host to the successful SouthernXC mountain bike races and in the past has hosted British Cycling’s Nation XC Champs and Marathon Champs, as a result there is some first class singletrack sections scattered around the woods. We’re aiming for the course to have around 50% singletrack with woodland tracks and fire access roads making up the rest. They’ll be plenty of options for overtaking for those making up time after the swimming section. Full Fat competitors will complete 2 laps of a 12km loop, with the Sugar Free competitors completing 1 lap.
